The jogging path around the Kesbewa tank was handed over to the public on 22nd February 2018. The Provincial Irrigation Department of the Western Province provided the consultancy service for this project.

At the “Inter Institutional Progress Management Competition” conducted at the Western Province Aesthetic Resort on 2017-12-21, with the participation of the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Land, Irrigation, Fisheries, Animal production and Health and Agrarian Development, Mr. Gamini Thilakasiri, the Western Provincial Department of Irrigation has claimed the first place in the first group.
